The Soteria Bed Barrier, which gained FDA clearance in late 2022, serves as a protective layer between the bed and the patient. This innovative solution prevents soiling from bodily fluids and reduces the risk of infections, while also prolonging the lifespan of hospital mattresses. Multiple clinical studies have demonstrated the critical importance of maintaining clean mattresses in preventing infections.
