DevAI Raises $6 Million to Transform Enterprise IT with AI-Powered Network Agents
The funding will accelerate DevAI’s mission to enhance IT operations with intelligent network agents.

DevAI, a pioneering AI company focused on enterprise IT solutions, has secured $6 million in an oversubscribed seed funding round. The investment was led by Emergence Capital, with contributions from Pear VC, Base10, and Benchstrength, following a previous $1 million pre-seed round from Pear VC. This funding aims to enhance DevAI’s innovative AI-driven network management solutions, helping IT teams reduce downtime and improve security.
Addressing Critical IT Challenges
DevAI operates in the $2.5 trillion IT software and services market, introducing Network AI agents to tackle inefficiencies in IT infrastructure management. Existing IT networks rely on fragmented tools that create inconsistencies and make systems prone to errors, security risks, and operational inefficiencies. DevAI’s solutions address these challenges by integrating IT tools to provide real-time, actionable insights.
Introducing the DevAI Network Intelligence Engine
The company’s flagship product, the DevAI Network Intelligence Engine, is designed to aggregate intelligence from IT tools, industry standards, and institutional knowledge. This AI-driven platform provides recommendations to IT professionals and supports specialized agents for automating key IT functions. The first agent, Neo, offers a chat-based interface for IT planning, incident response, and compliance management.
Enhancing IT Efficiency and Reducing Costs
By eliminating silos in IT tools, DevAI enhances response times and operational efficiency, reducing mean time to identify (MTTI) and resolve (MTTR) IT incidents. These improvements translate to significant cost savings, as enterprises can potentially reduce ticket resolution costs by 30 to 70 percent. Through AI automation, IT teams can shift focus from routine maintenance to strategic business initiatives.
Leadership and Expertise
DevAI is led by CEO and co-founder Susie Wee, an industry veteran with experience at Cisco, Google, and HP. At Cisco, Wee established the DevNet developer community, growing it to nearly a million members while addressing enterprise IT challenges. Alongside her, co-founder Edwin Zhang brings deep expertise in enterprise technology, cloud platforms, and software solutions, having worked alongside Wee for over a decade.
Investor Confidence and Industry Backing
Emergence Capital’s participation in this seed round reflects investor confidence in DevAI’s transformative potential within enterprise IT management. General Partner Santi Subotovsky emphasized the alignment of DevAI’s AI-powered solutions with enterprise needs for cost efficiency and productivity enhancements. Mar Hershenson of Pear VC also highlighted the company’s ability to streamline complex network operations, reinforcing DevAI’s strategic value.
Collaboration with Industry Leaders
DevAI has secured partnerships with major enterprises to refine its technology through real-world use cases. These collaborations enable the company to tailor its AI solutions to address the most pressing IT challenges. Aryo Kresnadi, Technical Director at FedEx and an advisor to DevAI, stressed the importance of integrating AI into network management to meet the demands of modern businesses.
With fresh capital, DevAI plans to expand its product reach, enhance AI capabilities, and foster a growing community of IT professionals. The funding will drive continuous product development and strengthen customer collaboration. Enterprises interested in leveraging AI-driven IT management solutions can explore partnership opportunities with DevAI to shape the future of intelligent network management.
